Description

MAX96792AGTM/VY+ is Maxim’s automotive-grade, multi-channel SerDes device for FPD-Link III camera networks. It provides high-speed serializer/deserializer functionality to move multiple video channels between cameras and the vehicle ECU over a single twisted pair or coax cable. Designed for harsh automotive environments, it supports automotive qualifications, robust protection (ESD, short-circuit, overvoltage), wake/sleep modes, and low power operation. The device includes cable-tolerant features such as built-in channel equalization to support longer runs and flexible I/O levels to match sensors and ECUs. Available in two package variants (AGTM and VY+) for different board layouts. Typical applications: automotive cameras (front/rear/surround-view), ADAS, and digital cockpit displays.
